ISS-40_Pacific_Ocean_with_Canadarm2

As the International Space Station was flying 225 miles above the Pacific Ocean several hundred miles north of Hawaii, one of the Expedition 40 crew members onboard photographed this image of the orbiting outpost’s Canadian-built robotic arm over Pacific waters with Earth’s horizon in the background. Astronauts inside the orbital outpost were practicing remote controlling of the SSRMS or Canadarm2 in preparation for the upcoming visit by the Cygnus cargo carrier built by Orbital Sciences Corp.
